How to Ensure Every Family Gets Their Special Shot

One of the biggest concerns during an extended family session is making sure that every family unit gets their own photos.

Before the session, I create a customized list to ensure every family gets their turn. This usually includes:
Everyone ( whole Extended Family)
Grandparents with grandkids
Individual family units
Siblings and OG groups Cousins together
Couples (Grandparents, parents, newlyweds, etc.)
Kids solo or with each parent

Capturing the full extended family photos is the most important to me and getting it done early helps keep little ones happy before they lose interest. After the big group photos, I begin working through different family combinations. I move efficiently from one group to the next, keeping the session fun with prompts and games to help everyone relax and be themselves.
